Cranial MRI is a non-invasive technique that helps us to diagnose brain pathologies, both of the brain parenchyma and of the auditory canal or orbital system.

Sometimes the administration of contrast medium (gadolinium) is required, for which it is recommended that the patient comes with 4 hours of fasting.

The technician will place the patient face up on the table with the skull antenna, the test lasts about 20 minutes. The patient can see the technician in the control room throughout the examination, through a mirror located on the antenna as a periscope, apart from having a buzzer that can be pressed if necessary to alert the operator of the resonance.
